📌 MAROKO133 Hot ai: Oops! Nvidia’s Stock Is Falling Again After Its “Blowout” Earn

On Wednesday night, Nvidia released its highly anticipated-slashed-dreaded quarterly earnings report — and Wall Street let out a sigh of relief, at least initially.

The multitrillion dollar chipmaker at the center of the AI boom reported a ludicrous $57 billion in quarterly revenue, netting it nearly $32 billion in profit. Compared to the same quarter from the year before, it amounted to a 62 percent surge in sales, and a further 65 percent increase in profit.

Nvidia’s stock spiked by over four percent when trading resumed on Thursday morning. Other tech stocks received a boost, too, as did the S&P 500 overall. The chipmaker’s “blowout” quarter calmed fears of an AI bubble bursting on the horizon. If the nearly $5 trillion behemoth responsible for providing the hardware used by AI makers was still seeing its profits balloon, then perhaps the economy collapsing wasn’t in the cards just yet, and everyone could feel secure about pouring more money into AI.

But the fuzzy feelings didn’t last.

While headlines were still trickling out today about the stock market’s rally in the wake of Nvidia’s awesome third quarter, Nvidia’s stock did a swift 180, plunged again, and is now down by over 4 percent over the course of the day.

And once again, other tech stocks followed. Microsoft shares are now down by 1.6 percent, and Google’s by around 1 percent, even though it just released its hot new Gemini 3 AI model.

Perhaps cooler heads finally prevailed. In reality, the fact that the company which is selling all the shovels for an AI gold rush is doing well doesn’t really reflect on the prospects of the companies who are actually mining for all that elusive gold.

“The people who are selling the semiconductors to help power AI doesn’t alleviate the concerns that some of these hyperscalers are spending way too much money on building the AI infrastructure,” Robert Pavlik, senior portfolio manager at Dakota Wealth, told Reuters. “You have the company that’s benefiting it, but the others are still spending too much money.”

The fizzling stocks also come as the Wall Street analysts lowered their expectations of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates in December, NBC News noted, due to a better than expected September jobs report.

The vicissitudes of the stock market can be cruel. It didn’t care, for instance, that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang had just gloated about Nvidia’s earnings.

“There’s been a lot of talk about an AI bubble,” Huang told investors during the earnings call, before stocks started shriveling again. “From our vantage point, we see something very different. As a reminder, Nvidia is unlike any other accelerator. We excel at every phase of AI from pre-training to post-training to inference.”

📌 MAROKO133 Breaking ai: World’s largest neutrino detector built in China surpasse

China’s neutrino detector has showcased a record level of precision, according to its first physics results. The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory’s key performance indicators fully meet or surpass design expectations.

After more than a decade of design, construction, and international collaboration, JUNO has become the world’s first next-generation, large-scale, high-precision neutrino detector to begin operation.

Early data has shown that JUNO is ready to deliver frontier measurements in neutrino physics, according to results.

JUNO measured solar neutrino oscillation parameters

JUNO has already measured the so-called solar neutrino oscillation parameters, known as θ12 and Δm221, with a factor of 1.6 better precision than all previous experiments combined, according to data collected between August 26 and November 2, 2025—just 59 days of effective data after the start of operation.

These parameters, originally determined using solar neutrinos, can also be precisely measured by reactor antineutrinos. Earlier results from the two approaches showed a mild 1.5-sigma discrepancy, sometimes called the solar neutrino tension, hinting at possible new physics. The new JUNO measurement confirmed this difference, which can be proved or disproved by the JUNO experiment only using both solar and reactor neutrinos, according to a press release.

“Achieving such precision within only two months of operation shows that JUNO is performing exactly as designed,” said Yifang Wang, JUNO project manager and spokesperson. “With this level of accuracy, JUNO will soon determine the neutrino mass ordering, test the three-flavour oscillation framework, and search for new physics beyond it.”

State-of-the-art detector

The concept of JUNO was proposed in 2008 and received approval and funding from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Guangdong Provincial Government in 2013, followed by international contributions in 2014. Civil construction of the underground laboratory began in 2015, with detector installation starting in 2021 and completing in December 2024. After filling the detector with ultrapure water and 20 kilotons of liquid scintillator, JUNO began physics data taking on August 26, 2025, as per the release.

“The scientific outcome announced today witnesses how fruitful the decade long effort of the JUNO Collaboration has been to assemble a state-of-the-art detector, incorporating many cutting-edge technical solutions, that will dominate the landscape of neutrino physics over the next years, providing results of exquisite precision,” said Gioacchino Ranucci of the University and INFN of Milano in Italy, deputy spokesperson of JUNO.

“Many factors contributed to this success, among which the convergence of experience and expertise in liquid scintillator detectors and related analysis techniques—brought together by groups from around the world—was surely pivotal in achieving JUNO’s unprecedented level of performance.”

A detailed paper describing the detector performance has been submitted to Chinese Physics C and was posted on the arXiv preprint server on November 18.

JUNO consists of a 20-kton liquid scintillator central detector, surrounded by a 35 kton water pool serving as a Cherenkov veto, and almost 1000 m2 of plastic scintillator veto on top. The detector is located in a shallow underground laboratory with an overburden of 1800 m.w.e. The paper, posted on the arXiv, presents the performance results of the detector, extensively studied during the commissioning of the water phase, the subsequent liquid scintillator filling phase, and the first physics runs.
